Water is all around us – it cleanses, nourishes, calms, and amuses. It can be dangerous. But have you ever considered it as a musical instrument? Join conductor David Fallis, percussionist Ryan Scott, and landscape architect Carla Lipkin for a deep dive into the unique sonic potential of water.

Come early to explore water in the heart of the city with a remount of 1:1 Collaborative’s water soundscape, originally commissioned by The 2017 Living City Art Exhibition. Featuring a musical performance and sneak peek into Chinese composer Tan Dun’s Water Passion After St. Matthew, presented by Soundstreams on March 9 at Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre.
