Join us for “Choral Encounters” as we unpack the choral form. A medium with deep historic roots, choral music has certainly endured.  Why is the choral form so resonant for people, and how do contemporary artists continue to innovate the “choir”?

How can the choral tradition act as an agent of change? These are some of the themes that Choral Encounters will explore.

Our  featured performance segment is from “A Choir of Demands and Desires On Repeat,” an ad hoc choir recalling, reminding, and repeating the demands made by women, and feminist movements across geography and history. It will feature: Annie Wong, Rebecca Zala, Fiona Ray Clarke and Faith Arkorful.
